Privacy Policy.

Introduction

Your privacy is very important to New Market Veterans LLC and we are committed to treating your personal information responsibly. To allow you to make informed decisions with respect to your privacy, we provide this notice explaining our online information collecting, use, and disclosure practices. Use of this Website constitutes your consent to our collection, use, and disclosure of personal information in the manners set forth below.

Scope

This Privacy Notice shall apply only to individuals visiting www.newmarketveteransllc.com or www.nmvppe.com  (the “Websites”) and solely to information about such visitors collected by New Market Veterans LLC (hereinafter “NMV“, “us”, “our” or “we”) through our Websites; it does not apply to any other individuals or any other information collected. This Privacy Notice is effective as of February 1, 2021 (“Effective Date”).

This Privacy Notice applies only to information collected after the Effective Date and used or disclosed by NMV thereafter.  These Websites may include links to other websites that are governed by their own privacy policies and are solely responsible for their practices in handling your personal information.  To process online payments, we may use third parties who also have their own privacy policies and are solely responsible for handling your personal and financial information.  NMV does not endorse the privacy policies or practices of any other website or service provider and you must review them to make an informed decision whether to use such websites or services beforehand.

Information We Collect

To provide you with the best possible experience and promote the efficient, secure, and proper operation of the Websites, NMV collects many kinds of information through your use of the Websites and may receive information from other companies.  The information collected varies depending on how you use the Websites.  Some information you may provide directly to us including, but not limited to, your order number, name, contact information (such as an address, zip code, phone or fax number, or email address), gender, age, number of members of your household or business, and general information relating to product preferences, personal interests, or income.  Additionally, the chat logs created when using online chat features may be collected.  Some information NMV may receive when automatically transmitted by your web browser or by observing how you navigate and use the Websites.  This may include, but is not limited to, the areas of the Websites you frequent, your browser type and language used, IP address, location, unique identifiers, cookies, the websites you request and features you use.  We may also receive information from other companies, such as demographic information, that we can combine with other information about you.

NMV will not collect any personally identifiable information about you through the Websites without your consent.  By visiting the Websites, you consent to NMV collection and use of the information we collect as specified in this Privacy Notice.  If you wish not to provide such consent, then you must not visit or use the Websites.  NMV is aware of recent efforts to include “Do Not Track” features in web browsers that send signals to websites indicating a user’s preference not to be tracked.  However, because this feature is unsettled and has yet to be standardized, NMV does not currently respond to these signals.

NMV collects information by using both active (e.g., forms and surveys you fill out) and passive (e.g., cookies and similar technologies) methods when you visit the Websites.  Active collection of information occurs in some areas of the Websites including, but not limited to, when you fill out forms to register or to receive materials, announcements, and other information, when you complete surveys, when you type into a text or search box, or when you use our online chat features.  In either case, you may provide information by checking a box or radial or by typing information into a text box.  Passive collection of information occurs when NMV utilizes technologies like cookies and web beacons (which includes technologies of third parties responsible for their own privacy policies and practices) or when your web browser transmits the information to the Websites that it transmits to all websites (including, but not limited to, your IP address, browser type and language, the website you just came from and the pages you visit and links you click while using the Websites).

Financial Data

Financial information, such as data related to your payment method (e.g. valid credit card number, card brand, expiration date) that NMV may collect when you purchase, order, return, exchange, or request information about our services from NMVppe.com or our mobile application. We store only very limited, if any, financial information that we collect. Otherwise, all financial information is stored by our payment processor, Shopify, and you are encouraged to review their privacy policy and contact them directly for responses to your questions.

How We Use Your Personal Information

NMV will only use the information it collects for legitimate business purposes.  NMV uses the information it collects to operate, improve, secure, and promote efficiency on the Websites.  For example, NMV must use your IP address to communicate with your web browser.  For another example, NMV may become a victim of a DoS attack and need to block access to specific users.  There are many other ways that the information NMV collects is used to operate, improve, secure and promote the efficiency of the Websites.

NMV also uses the information it collects to best understand our online audience and prospective clients, partners, or other interested parties.  This could include but is not limited to, analyzing the most viewed areas of the Websites to know what most interests you and our online audience or for training purposes.

NMV additionally uses the information it collects both in the aggregate and as specific to you or your business, to enhance your online experience by displaying content and marketing messages that we believe will be of interest to you.

NMV may also use the information it collects to communicate with you directly, such as to send you important updates, newsletters, and offers with respect to products and services most relevant to you.  This could include but is not limited to, offering you the option of purchasing an extended warranty for a product you recently purchased or to make special offers to purchase products and services that we think you are interested in.

How We Protect Your Personal Information

NMV uses industry-standard safeguards to protect the confidentiality of personal information it collects from visitors to our Websites.  Personal information collected is accessible only by designated staff or agents of NMV who are also bound to this statement, except as otherwise stated in this Privacy Notice.  However, it is important to recognize that “perfect security” does not exist on the Internet or anywhere. Therefore, while NMV endeavors to maintain appropriate physical and electronic procedures and safeguards to protect the information it collects, NMV cannot guarantee the confidentiality of any information that you disclose or transmit and all such information is at risk of being unlawfully intercepted, accessed, used, or disclosed.

NMV will share your personally identifiable information with your consent.  This could include but is not limited to, sharing your information with a social media website when you ask NMV to do so.

New Market Veterans LLC may disclose any information it collects to our subsidiaries and affiliates, and to vendors working on our behalf.  In these instances, those receiving information collected by NMV must abide by NMV data privacy requirements and must not retain the information or use it in any other manner.  Similarly, NMV may disclose any information it collects as part of a corporate transaction such as an acquisition, merger, or asset sale.

NMV may disclose any information it collects when it reasonably believes that doing so is necessary to:  comply with any law or to respond to legal process – including law enforcement or other government agencies; protect our customers or the health and safety of others; prevent and remedy fraud or any other illegal conduct; maintain the security and integrity of the Websites; protect the rights or property of NMV or others.

Note, again, that the Websites links to third party websites and may use or permit third party payment processors and technologies like cookies and web beacons.  These third parties have privacy policies and practices different from NMV and the information they receive is governed by their own privacy policies and they are solely responsible for how they handle your information.
