Mr. King joined the United States Navy in the 1980’s. His first service was as a Naval aviator. Neil had leadership roles in the anti-submarine warfare and the anti-mine warfare community. Upon completion of his last tour Mr. King turned his focus from flying to medicine. He left active duty in pursuit of a career as a Doctor.
Mr. King completed his medical education and residency in Neurology. Neil continued to serve in the private sector serving patients at his private practice near Charlotte, NC. The call to serve the Nation brought Mr. King back into uniform in May 2011 when he returned to active duty. He combined his love of both healthcare and flying by serving in a variety of USN and USMC squadrons. Including as a Force Surgeon with a Marine Air Wing.
