Jeff “Cliffy” Tontini served for over 23 years as a Marine Corps Officer and Naval Aviator during which time he amassed over 3,900 hours in both Rotary Wing and Fixed Wing aircraft. During Jeff’s aviation career he was qualified in the AH-1W “Super Cobra”, CH-46E “Sea Knight”, VH-60N “Black Hawk” and VH-3D “Sea King” helicopters as well as the C-12 “King Air".
Jeff served in numerous military commands in a plethora of assignments around the world. Jeff served as a Presidential pilot for HMX-1, better known as “Marine One” and is also a graduate of the prestigious Marine Aviation Weapons and Tactics Squadron. During Jeff ‘s career, he conducted six overseas deployments to include four combat tours in such countries as Somalia, Iraq, and Afghanistan.
After military retirement, Jeff flew Emergency Medical Service helicopters for REACH Air Medical Service, and has been a Booze Allen Hamilton aviation consultant for the United States Marine Corps.
He received a B.A. in History and B.A. in Secondary Education from Washington State University.
